I grew up in the central valley in California, surrounded by farms and orchards. I feel fortunate to have lived and explored as a child on our almond orchard. I was born into a Christian household and at a young age decided I wanted Jesus to be my friend. Pursuing my faith has been a constant journey with ups and downs and unexpected turns, but I have found God to be faithful. I enjoy being creative in multiple ways and am exploring how to share that with whoever might be inspired and encouraged by it.

I believe each of us is given gifts in order to give them away. My hope is that as I venture to scatter whatever seeds I find in my hand, someone, somewhere might benefit from, be encouraged by, and have a brighter day because of those seeds. Goals in life include loving God, loving people, having eyes that find beauty in everything, creating whatever is given to me to create, and giving it away as best as I can.

I have been married to the kindest man I know for over thirty years, am a mother of three adult children, and a school nurse. I enjoy writing, playing piano, singing, and anything and everything creative. I hold an MSN in nursing and live in Northern California with my husband and golden retriever.
